I have been described as a naturally gifted athlete and I thank both of my parents for this! My mother played tennis from a young age and my father played Badminton at national-tier level.
I thrived in the juniors, reaching the top 100 of the rankings and was coached by former pro, Maniel Bains, and subsequently Dan Evans' former coach, Scott Key. At the time, I had been told that I had the potential to be ranked within the top 200 in the world, and that is something that I still believe can happen.
Since I turned 16, I have focussed on my studies alongside my tennis, earning an undergraduate degree in PPE from Royal Holloway, University of London. Unfortunately, in 2019, an elbow injury set me back two years, with the pandemic preventing me from regularly receiving physiotherapy treatment.
Nevertheless, I am now 100% healthy, and with an undergraduate and masters degree under my belt, I am ready to put my all into tennis and maximise my potential.
Other hobbies and interests include football, badminton, golf and politics!
