Aims & Goals

I want to fulfill my potential in tennis as I know there is a lot more for me to do in the sport. As a British player wanting to play Wimbledon is always an aspiration and goal. Right now climbing the rankings and winning futures events is the immediate goal.

Having played 5 years of university tennis I am relatively new to professional tournaments. I competed in the University games in France 2019, with GB winning a silver medal and I went undefeated in singles play. With the Covid pandemic I have not been able to travel and play as much as I like and so have only been able to go on 3 trips this year. However now I am able to travel I will be playing a full circuit and competing as much as possible.

Andrew Higham, Nottinghamshire county coach & university of Nottingham coach

I only met Dan in 2019 when he came to The University of Nottingham to study and develop his tennis but it\'s clear to me that his drive and dedication to his tennis started at a young age. Since working with our programme has has left his comfort zone in pursuit of developing his skills as a tennis player and this has reaped results in the short time he has been able to play tournaments. I have confidence that he can continue to grow as a person and a player with the right resources. I value Dan as a close friend and am always looking to support his tennis when he\'s back in Nottingham by regularly looking to set him up with juniors I coach. I can trust that my students won\'t just receive a high level of hitting partner but a great role model too.
