Anastasiia Firman
I am 14 years old. I live and training in Odessa. My mother brought me to tennis at the age of 6. At the age of 7, I won my first tournament. Since then I have been a participant, medalist and winner of many national and international competitions. I am a member of the National Team of Ukraine U14 and U16. My goal is professional sports. Me and my coach Sergei Zhitsky, with whom I have been working for five years, are moving towards the goal.

Aims & Goals
My main goal for the next year is gradual transition from juniors to professional tour. In the future my goal is to play in WTA tour and I am pretty much sure that my confidence, determination, persistence and talent will help me to achieve these goals.
My team helps me a lot. My coach, that has been working with me for almost 5 years, who always gives me the right support on all tournaments we are traveling to. My mom, who plays the role of my manager and always next to me. The transition to a new professional level requires big financial expenses (fitness coach, physio, rehabilitation expenses, clothes, expenses for traveling to tournaments with my coach). So far, my parents were covering all these expenses, but I understand that in the future sponsor’s help is necessary to continue playing professionally. That’s why I’m here – to introduce myself to the world !!
