Testimonials

Mike James, Coach | Educator | Mentor Director of Tennis, HaltonUK & Everyball Tennis (mikejames@everyball.net, +44+7958+008312)

Amelie has been training with us at Everyball Tennis, Halton Tennis Centre since January 2014. During this time I have seen her develop into one of GB\'s more highly rated junior players. She is now ranked in the top-10 in the 16&U junior national rankings and recently earned her first ITF world ranking points as a 14 year old. Whilst it is early days, these are strong indicators that she is on a positive trajectory towards her goal of becoming a professional tennis player. More specifically, I have worked with Amelie as her individual coach for the past two years, taking over from my colleague James Morgan who did a super job of preparing and forming her for when I took over a few months before the GB 12&U National Championships in which she was runner-up. I have found Amelie to be an extremely determined and resilient learner and performer. She shows a high degree of commitment to her goals whilst retaining an exceptional level of personal behaviour as seen in her respect for her peers. opponents, coaches and others within her tennis orbit. Amelie also shows a strong interest in her academics and she does an excellent job of balancing this with her tennis and other life interests. In short, I highly recommend this hard working, articulate, affable and able young athlete to you. She is a pleasure to coach, and it is my belief that she has the potential for a significant future in the game. If you have any further questions regarding Amelie, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
